Cadastral Surveys
A cadastral survey can be as small as a boundary adjustment or as large as a multi-lot subdivision. It is required for any subdivision or proposed property development.
Subdivisions must gain Resource Consent from the relevant council, in accordance with the District Plan and the Resource Management Act 1991, before a cadastral survey can be lodged with Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) through the e-survey system.
